Altia, located in the Altair system, is a hub of black market activity in the Federation. Stolen goods regularly turn up on Altia, and the ever-changing population is filled with thieves, pirates, corrupt law officials, and shady businessmen. Despite the rampant crime, however, things on this planet are kept relatively peaceful as an all-out war would hurt everyone's interests. Experienced pilots can pick up some relatively uncommon outfits at the outfitters, both legal and otherwise.

Port servicesEdit

Altia offers most services common to spaceports with the exception of a shipyard. The outfitters are particularly noteworthy for offering a large number of both uncommon and under-the-table goods.

Trade CenterEdit

Altia offers a few commodities for trade, including food, medical supplies, metal, and equipment. There's increased demand for food due to a minor drought as well as a constant demand for equipment, no questions asked. Traders without any semblance of moral fiber can also find buyers with deep pockets who will purchase stuffed knup-knups at high prices.

OutfitterEdit

The outfitters on Altia feature a fascinating array of both legal and illegal hardware. Many weapons, from Radar Missile Launchers to Medium Compound Blaster Turrets, can be purchased here without a license, although pilots who equip such outfits should be aware that a scan by Federation authorities can turn them from being seen as a simple trader to a wanted outlaw in a few seconds flat. Legal "pirate" hardware such as Pirate Viper Bays, Pirate Jammers and Owen Greylock's patented Sensor Boost are also available. Interestingly enough, one can also find a few legal Auroran outfits here as well, such as Fusion Pulse Cannons, Hail Chainguns, and railguns.
