This ability functions much as jammers do for conventional starships: it confuses incoming weapon guidance systems, causing them to miss their target. This sense comes second only to the Nil’kemorya Jammer in terms of IR, radar, and gravimetric jamming. It is the best for Etheric Wake jamming, ideal for not just EW missiles, but for the deadly Polaron Torpedo as well.
