The Fusion Pulse Cannon is a rather crude yet powerful weapon. It is rather poorly designed by Federation standards, with bulky dimensions and very inefficient containment fields, but it is still a formidable weapon.

Because of the FPC's effectiveness, it can be found on nearly all Auroran warships and freighters, as well as many Pirate craft and even Auroran Outfits Detected Federation warships. It is available without a Heavy Weapons License at any good outfitter.

This weapon has excellent range (three times farther than the Light Blaster, for example) and does a decent amount of damage for the space it occupies.

Keep in mind that FPC packets decay, so the further they travel to the target, the less damage they do. But don't get too close if you're picky about how much damage you take, for you may be caught in the blast radius at close range.
