A Gravimetric sensor scans the starships in the local system, determines their relative size, and displays this information to the pilot. The granularity is crude, as it distinguishes only between "large" and "small" vessels, but it also shows position and movement of all vessels. No veteran pilot would make a jump without this outfit and its companion instrument, the IFF Decoder.
