The Pirate Jammer is another one of the well-known series of upgrades produced by Olaf Greyshoulders. This system is based on the technology of the Military Radar Jammer and the Military IR Jammer, but combines them into one enhanced package which is widely considered the most effective countermeasure system outside of Polaris space.

This jammer is extremely powerful, and it is legal, unlike the slightly less powerful "cheap" military jammers. This item, combined with several other jammers, will allow very few missiles to hit your ship.
