A highly advanced turret composed of four Light Compound Blasters, the Quad Light Compound Blaster Turret features an automatic targeting and fire-control system which locks on to incoming missiles and fighters, making it a powerful point defense weapon. This system does not target capital ships, however.

This weapon automatically shoots at attacking fighters and missiles. The player has no control over it.

The Federation only sells this powerful weapon to captains with military approval. Although available on the black market, the unscrupulous engineers who sell it are notoriously difficult to track down. Only pilots with connections to Rebel intelligence have a chance of locating and acquiring these weapons. Alternatively, you could attempt to disable and capture a ship that has these beauties fitted on already, such as the Heavily Modified variant of the Pirate Enterprise, the Rebel Valkyryie Class V, the Rebel Starbridge Class D and E, the Fed Destroyer, the Mod Starbridge Class E, and several others. Unfortunately, none of these ships are easy to disable.
